Account & Data Deletion
This page explains how to permanently delete your Campify account and associated personal data.
1. Delete your account in the app
If you still have the Campify app installed and can sign in:
- Open the Campify app.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog.
This will permanently delete your account and profile data from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
2. Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have access to the app or cannot sign in, you can request account deletion by emailing us:
Please include:
- The email address you used in the app (your campus / university email).
- Your Campify
@handle, if you remember it.
Once we verify your request, we will delete your account and associated data from our systems, except for data we are legally required to keep (if any).
3. What we delete
When we delete your account, we delete:
- Your Campify account and authentication record.
- Your profile information (name, photo, @handle, basic profile fields).
- Your presence and schedule data associated with your account.
- Other personal data linked directly to your user ID.
4. What we may retain
We may retain minimal information as needed for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance (for example, records of abuse reports), where applicable. This data is no longer linked to an active account.
